EA announces Boom Boom Rocket 0

Bizarre Creations is developing Boom Boom Rocket for Xbox Live Arcade, under the ever-watchful eye of mega-publisher Electronic Arts. We like Bizarre, they gave us Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved and sure looks like a sure bet for EA’s Live Arcade debut.

In Boom Boom Rocket, players trigger rockets to the beat of the music while travelling through a 3D cityscape. The better the player times the explosions, the more spectacular the fireworks effects. The fireworks are choreographed to 10 original tracks created by Ian Livingstone. Players can play in single player mode or go head-to-head against a friend on the same console.

Several game modes, lots of music and unlocks, as well as a leaderboard are listed as features in the press release. Boom Boom Rocket will be launched “in spring”. Let’s hope they’ll show it off soon enough.
