Bankshot Billiards 2

When I was younger, I spent a fair share of my time in a pool hall. It was within walking distance of my house, and the local arcade wasn’t. Years later, my local arcade is in my living room, and my local pool hall is Bankshot Billiards 2. Thanks to developer PixelStorm, I’ll never have to step foot in a smoke filled pool hall again.
With nine different types of game available, and a robust multiplayer over both local and Live, I may never even leave my living room again. Game modes range from the standard 8-ball and 9-ball to the more challenging trick-shot and golf modes. The title also includes my pool hall favorite, Cutthroat.
You don’t have to be a pool shark to enjoy a round of Billiards, thanks to the 4 levels of “aiming” available as well as tunable AI for when you don’t have a buddy to join in. If you do have a buddy hanging about, then pull up a controller and get ready for a casual round of the most realistic Billiards we’ve seen on a console. PixelStorm sinks this excellent title in the XBLA corner pocket for the win.

does this mean the first 1 will be reduced? 1200 ms points for a pool game is 2 much!

I must agree with you there. I haven’t bought Bankshot Billiards 2 myself yet, although the trial is promising I can’t see myself getting back 1,200 points of value. Especially not when there’s quite a few pool/snooker games in the discount bin already.
Although Lorien’s review makes me want this one anyway, so… Ah well. They should push it down to 800 points at least, but maybe that’s just me.
