Time Pilot

Talk about a simple game. All you do is control your airplane, and press a button to shoot. That’s it. Naturally you want to avoid being hit, and at the same time try to hit your enemies – which consist of various airplanes. You’ve got to kill a certain number of enemies to meet the boss, which is just a bigger plane, and after him it’s a new level with slightly smarter enemies.
But the problem is that it never really gets any harder; after a couple of play through you’ll beat every level easily. And since the number of levels is rather few, the game has very little replay value. Sure, it’s kind of fun the first times, chasing Achievements and all, but after an hour or so the game has nothing left to offer.

For some reason I love this game. I agree it is simple and its a couple levels up from asteroids. I find the game rather challenging, but maybe my skills are horid. I have yet to complete the game or even make it past 1982. Could account why I still play in addition to try to best my high score. One of the few games I keep playing and playing on Xbox live.

The games you get hooked on….. I played asteroids forever when I found it on shockwave.com or whatever. I think I’ll download the trial but cant really see myself buying this on.
